Terms of use

Read, compare and check the details for your own project.

Scope of the notebook

Pinewood Notes provides general material education and planning examples. It does not supply timber, sell equipment, accept customer orders or offer structural engineering. A quantity calculation is not a safe-load calculation. Instructions from the manufacturer of your exact tool, adhesive or finish take priority over a general article.

Content and reuse

The new text and illustrations on this site belong to their respective rights holders. You may link to a note and quote a short passage with credit where permitted by law. Republishing an article or presenting our images as your own product tests is not permitted. External links are provided for context; an external service controls its own content and terms.

Reader responsibility

Check units, dimensions and assumptions before buying or working. Conditions in your workshop can differ from a written example. Where a project affects a building, a load-bearing component or another person's safety, obtain suitable qualified advice and follow applicable requirements. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Contact and changes

Use the contact page to report a problem with the site. Do not use forms to submit unlawful material, other people's confidential information or automated spam. These terms may change as the notebook develops. Current version: 23 October 2026.
